SHIFTING GROUND is a feature documentary following a young girl, a teenage mom and an elderly woman living in the Kibera slum of Nairobi, Kenya. With each story told by a different director, this cross-generational film offers a raw, multifaceted and vivid female perspective of Africa’s largest slum.

Shifting Ground filmmakers will be sending the footage for transcription to Kenya soon. The next step is funding in order to start editing and complete post production.

Two stills from the film shoot were recently “CHOSEN” winners in American Photography 30 by on set Stills Photographer, Deanne Fitzmaurice (Pulitzer Prize winning Photojournalist).
